I WORK FOR THE DOLLAR GENERAL AND NOT TAKING UP FOR THEM THE REASON THIS IS HAPPENING DOLLAR GENERAL DOESN'T HIRE ENOUGH EMPLOYEES TO UPDATE THE PRICES BECAUSE THEY CHANGE ALMOST EVERY WEEK, ALSO IT IS HARD TO FIND PEOPLE ANYMORE THAT WANT TO WORK ESPECIALLY THOSE YOUNG ONES WHO ARE MOSTLY USELESS SAD BUT TRUE. THEY ARE A BIG COMPANY THAT DOESN'T CARE ABOUT THEIR EMPLOYEES, IT'S ALL ABOUT THE DOLLAR.

When ever the price is lower on the shelf I let them know at register They are usually cooperative with giving me the price on the shelf

I went into Dollar General and got a phone charger out of the $5.00 bin and they rang up at $8 and I caught him on it and they said all people are always switching them in the wrong bins and they got nasty with me about it

They also charge more for food in towns that don't have a grocery store, opposed to town's that do. People who don't have transportation to a grocery store are forced to pay the higher price.

Also if you look at expiration dates, there's a lot of times I've seen that they have expired or they will expire in a couple days I always look at dates because if you work at a daycare. The inspectors that come to those places check the dates. So that is why I look at dates, it didn't used to be that way. So just look for yourself.

I live in Georgia and a lot of Dollar General prices are different at the register than on the shelves. Some I believe are due to the Managers not doing their job and making sure the correct prices are on the shelves. And the one in Box Springs Georgia will not let you have the product for the price on shelf.

Yep, needed a pack of hamburger rolls and didn't want to drive thd 20 minutes one way into town. So I drove just 5 minutes to our local DG and picked up a pack, sticker posted said 1.25$, but rang up 1.50$. YES, I did ask and get that .25 cents back.

The same size can, same brand of cherry pie filling that is $1.25 at dollartree is $3.75 at DG next door. I bought twenty.

ALL retailers have cut WAY BACK on staff. All they give a damn about is profit. They’ve also cut ALL fulltime positions except managers. Then they don’t have to offer health insurance. RIP OFF.

They were great when they just opened. But didn't take them long to raise their prices more than Walmarts.

Anywhere you shop, they have to allow you to purchase the item as listed on the shelf. That’s law.

I think it's too tall. A realistic build of 20 story buildings is challenging enough for the architects because of the structural weights and stresses on the ground. Look at the NYC skyline, where the bedrock is shallower and thicker the skyscrapers are tall, where the schist is too deep the buildings are noticeably smaller. That's just the 1st of thousands of challenges to overcome.

This is terrible… I hardly shop at DG but from now on I will make sure I get charged the price on the shelf
